Event Details
We pause our family storytimes for this five week Play and Learn program tailored to children who are approaching kindergarten age. Enjoy the play centers we have set out, along with a story and craft - just enough structure to get your child some practice with group learning but with caregivers at their side for support! We will also have early intervention experts on the side each week to provide information in case you have questions about your child's development. For ages 3-5 with parent or caregiver.
Weekly topics:
- March 18: Early Literacy with Quarryville Library Youth staff plus FREE vision care screenings courtesy of Vision Corps
- March 25: Speech and Language Development with Lancaster County Intervention
- April 1: Growth and Development with Thrive to Five / Parents as Teachers
- April 8: Pediatric Nutrition with Penn State Extension
- April 15: Music and Movement plus "Touch-a-Truck" ambulance and Family Safety with Wakefield EMS
