Event Details

Come play with us at Quarryville Library for our Family Place program! Two programs each week, differentiated by child’s age. If you have children in both groups, you may participate in both or choose a different one each week to get the maximum benefit!

11:00 – 12:00 pm –  Parent-child workshop with Solanco School District (three through five with caregiver) -providing a welcoming community environment with resources that families need to nurture their children’s development to help ensure they enter school ready and able to learn.

Weekly topics:

  • March 19: Early Literacy
  • March 26: Speech and Language Development
  • April 2 Growth and Development
  • April 9: Pediatric Nutrition
  • April 16: Music and Movement

Each week offers opportunities for children to play with developmentally appropriate toys in a play group setting and for parents to meet and question community experts in the areas of child development, speech and language, nutrition, play, movement, and music.
