Preschool Zone

Best for children ages 3 – 5 years old and their caregivers. Other siblings welcome.  Subject to room availability; cancellations will be noted on our event calendar.

Preschool Zone is an interactive space offered twice each week, where caregivers can engage with their children in uninterrupted play and bond with their child. It’s a destination outside the home where children can interact with others, and learn valuable skills through play. Preschool Zone also provides a platform for caregivers to connect with other adults and find out more about library offerings.

Please note that we will offer a variety of preschool learning activities each week.  While most toys are accessible to all young children, occasionally we will include toys that are specifically rated for 3+ . These will be kept on a table out of reach of smaller children. As this is an unstaffed drop-in program we will not be monitoring the room at all times. We thank you for making sure these learning materials stay on the tables during your visit to keep smaller children safe during your visit.
