Join us on the first Tuesday of each month as we read and discuss works in the Short Story genre! From classic to contemporary, we’ll cover a variety of authors and stories to help us explore well-known works and introduce us to new favorites.

  • June 3: “Taking Care” by Joy Williams  
  • July 1: “The Red Convertible” by Louise Erdrich  
  • August 5: “The Buggy” by Roddy Doyle  
  • September 2: “No Shortage of Birds” by R.L. Maizes  
  • October 7: “The Fall of the House of Usher” by Edgar Allan Poe  
  • November 4: “The Cop and the Anthem” and “After Twenty Years” by O. Henry  
  • December 2: “The Christmas Dance” by James McBride
