Event Details
Registration for Teen Mindful Nature Walk will open at 9:00AM on Wednesday, July 2nd for Manheim Township and East Lampeter residents and on Wednesday, July 9th for residents of other municipalities.
For Teens ages 13-18 years of age only.
Take a break, breathe deep, and reconnect with nature. Join us for Mindful Nature Walks, a special program designed to support teen mental wellness through gentle outdoor exploration, creativity, and reflection.
We'll meet at the library before heading into nearby Overlook Park for a guided nature walk. Along the way, we’ll pause to observe and photograph local flora and fauna, take time to sketch peaceful scenes, and craft simple poems inspired by the natural world around us.
Each participant will receive a sketchbook to record their art, writing, or thoughts. No experience needed—just bring curiosity and comfortable shoes!
Note: To help everyone stay present and get the most out of the experience, we ask that all phones stay in pockets or bags during the program. Thank you for your cooperation!
