 Registering for the first week (March 12th, 2024) will hold your place for all six weeks of the workshop.

The Conestoga Toastmasters Club is conducting a free six-week workshop at the library called Speechcraft.

The Youth Leadership Program consists of six consecutive 1.5-hour Tuesday evening sessions from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm from March 12th through April 16th. It will enable those ages 12 - 17 to develop their communication and leadership skills through practical experience. In the workshop, young people will learn how to:

  • Evaluate their own speaking ability
  • Prepare and deliver speeches
  • Give impromptu talks
  • Control their voice, vocabulary, and gestures
  • Give constructive feedback and more
  • Lead meetings effectively

Conestoga Toastmasters was founded in 1955 as a non-profit organization and are committed to developing confident communicators and successful leaders who will positively influence the community.

Registration will open at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, February 6th, 2024, for Manheim Township and East Lampeter residents and on Friday, February 9th for residents of other municipalities.
