Youth Leadership for Tweens and Teens by Toastmasters

The Conestoga Toastmasters Club is conducting a free six-week workshop at the library called Youth Leadership.

The Youth Leadership Program consists of six sessions helping those between the ages of 12 and 15 to develop their communication and leadership skills through practical experience. 

In the workshop, young people will learn how to:

• Evaluate their own speaking ability
• Prepare and deliver speeches
• Give impromptu talks
• Control their voice, vocabulary, and gestures
• Give constructive feedback and more

Conestoga Toastmasters was founded in 1955 as a non-profit organization and are committed to developing confident communicators and successful leaders who will positively influence the community.
