At this stop, students/staff can check out and return books.

Drop-in 10-11:30 a.m. at the library. Did you know that many famous artists left behind unfinished works? You get to “finish” them in a fun and creative way! All ages. 

A representative from CareerLink will be in the Library to help with any needs you may have. No appointment needed.

Join in for some STEM fun as the Science Factory hosts this interesting and educational program enjoyable for everyone! Get ready to feel like a scientist while we learn from real ones! Ages 5-9. 

Join us on our Discovery Patio for an hour of creativity and fun!

Appropriate for ages 2-7 years.

Drop-in program. No registration is required but  a responsible adult must be present with children at all times

Legos, Magna Tiles, Lincoln Logs, and more building sets for creative building. Puzzles, numbers, letters & more! Drop in for a little while or stay the whole time!

This water play is for ages birth to 11 months.

Limit 10, registration required. Please register each infant individually. 

Join us for a cooperative movement program where we will use our imaginations while we play with a parachute! Stories and songs will be incorporated, while we move about and use our motor skills.

Sing, dance, chant, listen to music, move, and play instruments, while exploring the patterns and sounds that make up our language.

At this stop, students/staff can check out and return books.

Help us put together a story time program for our younger patrons! We will spend the first two days preparing a special story time craft and practicing our reading skills. On the third day we will participate in a real-life story time!

We present one-hour program with a little bit of everything from PA reptiles to mammals and birds of prey. We talk about how we acquired these animals as ambassadors, and how they are beneficial for the environment.

Registration for Cartooning Made Easy with Ed Klein will open at 9:00AM on Wednesday, July 23rd for Manheim Township and East Lampeter residents and on Wednesday, July 30

Lego Free Play for children ages 5+.  

Legos will be available in the Thompson room from 1-2 pm.

Lancaster Public Library’s Summer Reading Program is a community tradition that promotes reading for fun and lifelong enrichment.

All are invited to join the Readers' Roundtable for lively conversation and discussion. The book selection for August is Riding the Bus With My Sister by Rachel Simon. 

Join us at the library and bring your creativity! We will be using Perler beads to create beautiful works of art. Children will be free to use designs provided or come up with their own ideas.

This stop is open to the public, stopped within Golden Triangle Apartments near the community center.

At this stop, patrons can register for a library card, check out or return materials, and request holds for future stops.

Grief Stories provides a safe space for hearing first-hand accounts of overcoming tragic death and living with hope and purpose. A different speaker will present each month.
