REAL Life Community Services invites you to Young at Heart, with free events for anyone age 60 and up. Join us at the library for coffee, chatting, games, crafts, and more on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month.

*This event is not open to the public, only for the seniors and staff at Fairmount Homes*

Books are dropped off at two locations, Fairmount Crest View and Fairmount Homes.

Ages 6 - 24 months with a caregiver

Storytime will last 30 minutes and will include songs, stories, nursery rhymes and playtime.

Ages 2 - 3 years with a caregiver (Child must be 2 by September 1, 2023.)

This 9 week session will run September 20 - November 15.

Come sing, dance, Wiggle and Giggle! Fun monthly themes introduce basic concepts to toddlers and young children. Come play and learn!!  Ages 18 months up to age 4 with a caregiver

Infants, young toddlers and their caregivers sing songs, recite fun rhymes and read together. Participants also learn fingerplays, basic sign language and play together. Ages 0-24 months.

Enjoy stories and an easy craft for ages 3-6 with adult. Every Wednesday at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. 

Walk-ins welcome.

Join us for a fun time of exploring and discovery. (18 months to 36 months, with adult. Other family members welcome.)

Join Miss Jan for story time - a different theme each week! If the day is nice, Story Time will be held outdoors. Miss Jan will also sing some fun songs and offer a craft.

Meet together outdoors in the library's backyard! Backyard Storytimes are for the whole family, and last about 30 minutes. Bring a blanket or chairs for your family. 

No registration is required but a responsible adult must be present with children at all times. Free building and imaginative play with kits of toys for children from 9 months to 7 years!

Meld, bid, marriage, trump? You’re speaking our language! Join us every 1st and 3rd Wednesday for an afternoon of pinochle. This program runs until 3:30 p.m. Seniors.
