REAL Life Community Services invites you to Young at Heart, with free events for anyone age 60 and up. Join us at the library for coffee, chatting, games, crafts, and more on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month.

This stop is ONLY for seniors and staff at Fairmount Homes. 

The Bookmobile first stops at Crest View to drop off holds and pick up returns, and then goes over to the main office for the deposit holds and returns. 

Ages 6 - 24 months with a caregiver

Storytime will last 30 minutes and will include songs, stories, nursery rhymes and playtime.

Ages 18 months up to Age 4 with a caregiver

Come sing, dance, Wiggle and Giggle! Fun monthly themes introduce basic concepts to toddlers and young children. Come play and learn!!  

Infants, young toddlers and their caregivers sing songs, recite fun rhymes and read together. Participants also learn fingerplays, basic sign language and play together. Ages 0-24 months.

Enjoy stories and an easy craft for ages 3-6 with adult. Every Wednesday at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Ever wonder why mystery stories grab us and keep us reading into the wee hours of the night? Carolyn Kleinman's presentation covers the history of the mystery novel, the sub-genres that have evolved, and the structure of mystery stories.

A time for Toddlers with their grown-up, dedicated to stories, discovery and exploring!  (18 months to 36 months, with adult. Other family members welcome.)

This class will provide basic, hands-on practice with using flash drives to save copies of your documents, pictures, and more. Laptops and flash drives will be provided for in-class use.

Our wonderful partners from Solanco Early Learning are returning again to collaborate with us to offer this five week Play and Learn program.

Meld, bid, marriage, trump? You’re speaking our language! Join us every 1st and 3rd Wednesday for an afternoon of pinochle. This program runs until 3:30 p.m. Seniors.

Learn the importance of budgeting through a fun game based on reality. Participants will have to balance spending and saving their money all while trying to make sure they still have enough fun to keep their mood up!

We will be creating our own garden at the library! We’ll plan, plant and take care of our garden and watch it grow. We will also experiment and have fun trying out our own gardening methods! Ages 5-9.

Are you an adult who loves board games but don't have anyone to play them with? Come to the Library the third Wednesday of every month for a couple hours of casual competition...a variety games are available. No need to register.
