REAL Life Community Services invites you to Young at Heart, with free events for anyone age 60 and up. Join us at the library for coffee, chatting, games, crafts, and more on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month.

Join us on our discovery patio for an hour of creativity and fun!

Drop-in program. No registration is required but  a responsible adult must be present with children at all times

Come for a fun make-and-take craft from 9AM- 12PM! For children ages 4 to 11. 

Fun, interactive, educational fun with Phredd – Ukulele Flailing, Harmonica Wailing, Suitcase Drumming, Kazoo Hum-Humming, Ukulele Bundle of Joy!

Preschoolers are invited to this special story time at the Ephrata Township Community Park Story Walk at 436 East Fulton Street! Early literacy skills, including letter and sound introduction, are included in each story time.

Knitting Club meets every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month,  from 10 a.m. until noon. Knitting Club is for people who knit and like to share the craft.

Geared for children ages 6 - 10

Complete Lego challenges. Can you build a bridge? A tower? A letter? An animal?

Decorate our sidewalks with chalk! We provide the chalk, you provide the art!

Dutch Country Hand Rolled Soft Pretzels - Stop by for some fresh soft pretzels on a special day and time!

Chris Haynes, a real-life Civil War reenactor, will be at the Library to share what it's like to reenact the Civil War in Gettysburg.

Registration will open at 9 am on Wednesday, two weeks before the story time for Manheim Township and East Lampeter residents and on Saturday for residents of other municipalities.

Let’s all get together for dinner in the wild. Participants have an opportunity to take a close-up look at the food chain, where a series of organisms are each dependent on the next as a source of food.

Welcome all knitters, crocheters, loom knitters, cross stitchers, felters, spinners, and embroiderers—anyone who transforms fiber into amazing creations is invited to attend our bimonthly Knitting Club.

LEGO Free-build for Ages 5+ with a Caregiver. Come use your imagination and build with friends!

Prepare short readers' theater pieces and perform them for an audience of family members. Children Ages 7+ will practice the pieces from 10-11:45, and the performance begins at 11:45.

Come be creative and have FUN in Summer Art Club with artist, Jeremy Miller. Participants will learn about different artists and techniques and create their own Masterpieces! This class is best for children in grades 1-5.

Come to the Library and spend time with Miss Jan painting kind messages or pictures on rocks to give to a special someone, put in your garden, leave in a public place, or put in one of our flowerboxes.

A special program for tweens and teens! Join Lancaster County Parks and Rec for a rock painting project. Then spread your creations around town for people to find.

Take a break from swimming and join Miss Jess at the Pool Pavilion on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. Pool entrance fee at discount rate or membership required. Members are free, non-members are $5.

We start with a story based on that month's theme and then you are free to visit a variety of stations to do crafts, games, STEM activities, etc.
