Monday, Dec. 15 and Tuesday, Dec. 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Every month we will use our senses to explore a different Pennsylvania Game Commission Kit of pelts, wings, skulls, claws, books, activities, and all kinds of other manipulatives.

A CareerLink representative is available every other Monday to assist with job applications, resumes, and more! No appointment necessary!

Students will become structural engineers! They'll be introduced to different types of bridges and how engineers have designed bridges for specific functions.

Open board game time for young adults and older teens (16+) in the library! Bring your favorite board games to share with the group. 

For ages 2.5+ with parent or caregiver. Space is limited, registration is required. Please register everyone who will be attending. Registration closes on December 19th to allow for staff preparation.

Practice writing letters with a senior pen-pal from the community. Participants will write, send, receive and respond to letters. Ages 10-18.

Come practice basic typing skills! We will be going slowly and introducing only a few letters at a time. We'll even do some fun typing challenges! Ages 10-14. 

Questions about using the computer? Want to create a social media account (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)? Need help organizing your email? Come to the library on Tuesday afternoons for IT help!

Job seekers can also stop by the lobby on Thursdays from 1 to 3PM to meet with a community volunteer, who will help them fine tune their resume, navigate Indeed, and learn strategies for finding and applying for available jobs.

Join us for an afternoon of making & decorating holiday cookies to get in the holiday spirit! Ages 13-18.

Quarryville Library welcomes local author Nancy Groff, who will discuss her book, Watt & Shand: East, West, Hame's Best.  The book matter is described as follows:

Every month, the Lancaster County Parks & Recreation Dept. will teach us about different wildlife and environmental topics.
